Historically associated with amuletic and protective powers, coral was highly prized as a material for jewelry during the Georgian era for its natural beauty and vibrant color. It is in good antique condition: There is one small chip towards the edge of the setting on the central stone, visible only upon close inspection or magnification, and the shank evidences prior resizing(s).
