Antique Early Victorian Round Bristol Blue Glass & Paste Surround Dangle Pendant in Silver c. 1800, Circular, Late Georgian, Drop, Engraved, Floral, Cross,
A quite regal & classically beautiful early Victorian/late Georgian era paste and Bristol blue glass drop pendant, crafted of silver. The bright white of the paste “diamonds” against the glowing cobalt blue of the glass is a refined combination, and a popular one as well that can be observed in various similar examples. Flip the elegant pendant to reveal a charming and naive 4-pointed, floral, dotted, cross shaped engraving to the verso. The top bale is exceedingly unique and unusual in shape, invoking the shape of a traditional crown with its form of two open loops and three small spikes to the top studded with two small gems of its own. The small circular paste gem that dangles freely from the bottom of the pendant is exceptionally thick and well cut; with its twinkling facets sharp and clean to this day. The pendant is set fully close backed, and demonstrates a slight concaved, curved reverse. It measures 1.75 inches in length, including the bale. In width, it measures one inch. In excellent antique condition. It weighs in at a nice 6.2 grams. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.
Should the buyer fail to pick up the package or provide a correct address for its shipment and it is then subsequently returned to me, there will be a restocking fee of up to 10% to be deducted from the refund. If reshipment is desired, it is available at the buyer's cost.
