Wonky diamond forward, this early Victorian stone daisy flower cluster ring is most likely an example of a piece in which earlier stones have placed in a later setting.
Being irregular, funky and weird while still having lovely rose-cut faceting, excellent icy white color, clean sparkle & diaphanous clarity, these diamonds offer the best of all worlds.
A usual indicator of high quality, each of the seven stones have been left open back for maximum clarity and play of light. Tiny fine prongs hold each in place, making minimal contact between the diamonds and their metallic setting; crafted throughout of sunshine yellow 10k gold.
Wide, curling shoulders meet the sizable and symmetrically shaped old cut studded bezel; leading into a nice solid, unadorned shank.
Completely charismatic and charming, with characterful stones that make it one of a kind. Circa 1840-1860.
In excellent antique condition. It is a size 7.25 and weighs 3.1 grams.
