A wonderfully weighty and symbolic antique Edwardian signet ring crafted of bright, warm 9k gold with full Chester hallmarks to the inside of the shank, indicating a production date of 1913. The square-shaped bezel has been been emblazoned with a crisp and detailed engraving featuring two snakes intertwined, wrapped once each, around the base of a large fully grown tree. This image, full of Biblical and mythological allusions, can be seen as representative of the the pursuit, protection and constant renewal of knowledge and wisdom. Thick, solidly made and in immaculate condition, this finger ring weighs in at 6.6 grams and is an 8.5 in size.

Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped.
