Antique Edwardian Oversized Double-Sided Silver Heart Locket with Turquoise and Date Engraving c. 1900, Pendant, Art Deco, Love Token

This large Edwardian silver heart shaped locket is such an intimate, personal piece and most assuredly originally intended as a gift between loved ones. To the front, a banner encrusted with small faux turquoise cabochons; and to the back, a beautiful engraving commemorating the date of July 24, 1900. The oversized shape, weightiness and textured silver make it wonderfully tactile. It is in excellent antique condition; in perfect working order, clicking satisfyingly shut. There is also a small plastic insert inside, making this piece ready to house a memento. There is one small chip to one of the central turquoise cabochons. The locket measures 1.5 inches in length, excluding the bale, and just shy of that in width. It weighs 19.7 grams.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.

Should the buyer fail to pick up the package or provide a correct address for its shipment and it is then subsequently returned to me, there will be a restocking fee of up to 10% to be deducted from the refund. If reshipment is desired, it is available at the buyer's cost.
