Antique Georgian Amethyst Paste Infinity Shoulder Pansy Ring in 9k Gold c. 1820, Sentimental, Love Token, Pense a Moi, 1800s, Flower, Dainty

Sentimental and symbolic, this Georgian era amethyst paste pansy ring is a quiet and private reminder to the wearer to think of the giver, as the word “pansy” comes from the French “pense.” The symmetrical, looping infinity shoulders serve to further underscore the romantic, syrupy sweet nature of this lovely little piece. These openwork shoulders, as well as the closed back and cut-down collet settings of the stones are wrought in 9k yellow gold. The ring is an extremely comfortable fit, as the back of the flower shaped bezel is curved concavely to sit with ease on the finger. Circa 1820.

It is in good antique condition, having been well loved over the centuries. There is evidence of sizing to the shank, with some thinning to the band, and a few spots of repair to the shoulders. There is single replacement paste stone, as well. It is a size 7-7.25

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details.
