A weighty Georgian locket from the early 1800’s with a central glass compartment originally intended for a sentimental curl of hair; surrounded by a halo of the most delectable, luscious round flat-cut garnets. They are set in foiled and substantial cupped, closed back settings of rosey 9k gold. This tender and beautiful early locket is both a pin and a pendant, boasting both fittings and functionally opening from the front. In perfect working order and excellent, all original antique condition.
