An extremely pretty and unusual Georgian era rose-cut diamond, six petal flower cluster ring with the most wearable low profile, circa 1780-1820. The twinkling old and irregularly shaped diamonds have all been set closed back unusually in gold, as we typically see diamonds in this era set in silver. While each stone has been backed with silvered foil to increase its luminosity & depth, their settings differ: with the large central, oval-shaped diamond having been set in plump cut down collets, and the smaller diamonds studding each of the petals having been placed in more rustic rub over collets. Each shoulder has a V design to it, leading into a simple wide and unadorned shank in 18k. In very good antique condition. The construction of the verso indicates either a conversion or a shank replacement done in antiquity. The shank shows evidence of a prior resizing and there is a small nick to its inner edge. It is a size 6.5 and it weighs 3 grams.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility.
Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.Should the buyer fail to pick up the package or provide a correct address for its shipment and it is then subsequently returned to me, there will be a restocking fee of up to 10% to be deducted from the refund.
