Antique Georgian Sentimental Stuart Crystal Ring with Hair and Garnets of Cruciform c. 1730-1740, Mourning, Amatory, Rococo, 1700's, Basket Set, Rock Crystal
An incredible antique Georgian sentimental Stuart crystal ring of cruciform, crafted of 18k gold, a small weave of hair and four flat-cut garnets. Solid and well crafted, it boasts all the most beautiful rococo details such as a rayed verso, (also known as basket set), a foiled central stone notched shoulders; as well as a few more unusual flourishes such as the built-up, fin-like shoulders and the notches found towards the middle part of the shank. It is a very attractive and unusually designed piece, with many sharp edges and angular structures to catch the eye. A truly wonderful example originally either mourning or amatory in nature. Circa 1740. In excellent untouched, antique condition. There is a noticeable scratch across the crystal, but is of no consequence to its refined beauty. Size 5.75
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.
Should the buyer fail to pick up the package or provide a correct address for its shipment and it is then subsequently returned to me, there will be a restocking fee of up to 10% to be deducted from the refund. If reshipment is desired, it is available at the buyer's cost.
