Some of the absolute most wearable Georgian earrings. Once you slip on these endlessly chic & dainty French rose-cut garnet drops, you will never want to take them off (hence the name dormeuse as they can be worn overnight!) These may be the best sleeper hoops ever. The garnets have incredible projection and tons of clear, cherry red fire. The stones are set in silver, typical for the era, with golden backs and earwires of 18k. Chic projection, cherry perfection! Middle of the 19th century.
In excellent antique condition, closing securely and opening easily. Each ear wire is stamped with the French eagle punch mark. They measure 15mm by 12mm at their widest, and weigh 1.3 grams each.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details.
