Rustic and folk artsy, this small Victorian pendant takes the form of a joined, yet free-hanging duo of carved, deep red-orange coral figures: one a small standing pig, and the other a little stooped gentleman (also known as "il gobbo.")
The piglet is pierced fully through by a tiny singular, silver stud, while the minuscule, well dressed man is unusually surmounted by a single round, brilliant white gem; also set in silver.
Both characters, traditional representations of good luck and abundance, (along with many other similar symbols,) become popular souvenirs of Grand Tour Italian jewelry during the last quarter of the 19th century.
The two charms also hang independently from short lengths of finely linked silver chain with a pleasingly asymmetric dangle, suspended by a 14k bale.

In excellent, authentic antique condition. It weighs 1.9 grams in weight. The hunchback measures 22mm in height, while the pig measures 15mm in length, from snout to tail.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.
