Antique Victorian Coral Mano Figa Pendant with Two Bangles over a Sawtooth Cuff & Pearl Dagger in 14k Gold circa 1870, Charm, Mano Fico, Fist, Hand, Good Luck, 1800's, Talisman

Fierce, protective and apotropaic coral magic: A Victorian “mano figa” pendant—capped in a sawtooth edged cuff of 14k yellow gold, punctuated and adorned by two simple golden bangles of its own upon the forearm, and finally finished with a very finely modeled and realistically proportioned dagger grasped within the closed fist. A single pearl studs the dagger’s hilt, and the blade is pointed, sharp and even properly angled. A superior, very well executed rendition. Circa 1870. In excellent antique condition. It measures about 1 inch in length, including the bale, and about 1 inch at its widest point. It weighs 3.4 grams.
