This little vintage charm, which appears to be a simple tiny 9k gold box, actually hinges opens to reveal a secret-- it is in fact a miniature treasure chest! Inside rest two little “gems,” mimicking a round turquoise bead & a faceted garnet; and affixed to the black velvet interior. Note the fab “x” pattern to the front, and the little legs and English stamps of purity to the bottom. Mid-century; circa 1960. It measures 15mm in length, 11mm in width, and 4mm in height. It weighs 2.5 grams. In excellent vintage condition.
