A fatty mid-century dappled, hand-carved pink coral cornicello horn pendant set on a swiveling 18k gold loop bale. Circa 1940-1950. Weighing in at hefty 6.3 grams, and measuring 1.5 inches in length and about half an inch in width at the widest point; this is one satisfyingly chunky piece of coral. As you may or may not know this elongated twisting form knows as a “cornicello” is an Italian amulet thought to protect against the evil eye, bad luck and malicious forces and promote abundance & fertility. And with coral’s historically apotropaic qualities, it is a symbol of double the luck and protection. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.
