Vintage Modernist Octagonal Signet Ring with Brushed Bezel and Angular Shoulders in 14k Gold c. 1980, Blank, Initial, Monogram, Statement

Structural, sharp and symmetrical, this octagonal vintage signet, with a brushed gold bezel and angular shoulders, is a visually commanding ring. The brightness of the 14k yellow gold and the hard facets make it just light up and brings the eye right to it: like a moth to the flame. A statement piece that it really quite flexible at the same time as it plays beautifully with both old and new(er) rings alike. An edginess you will reach for again and again. Circa 1980. In excellent vintage condition. There is evidence of a prior resizing(s) but the shank remains wonderfully thick and wide. It is a size 9 and weighs 4.6 grams.
