An unusual twist on a vintage solitaire, this ring features a central, bezel-set emerald flanked by a duo of symmetrical, puffed, "x" shaped shoulders. These raised crisscross designs lead into an unadorned, medium width shank; all in 10k yellow gold.
A fabulous detail of note are how the curves and arches of both the bezel and shoulders have been scored, to both ends, top and bottom; creating a little shelf of sorts for best stacking, ideal positioning and optimal height while on the hand and finger.
The emerald, pale & translucent green in color with a bit of haziness due to some diffuse inclusions, is oval in shape and has been left open back for maximum passage and play of light and clarity.
Playing well with old and new alike, this ring layers beautifully with other bands, half hoops and full eternities: A unique take on the classic twist and knot motifs that came into popularity during the early 19th century, well into the 20th century. Circa 1980.
In excellent vintage condition. It weighs 1.9 grams and is a 5.25-5.5 in size. The bezel measures 6mm by 7mm, approximately.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery date. Item must be shipped within one week of my written confirmation of the return or exchange and its subsequent details. Return shipping must be insured and will be the buyer's responsibility. Items must be received in the same condition as sold/shipped. Any customs/tariffs/import fees/taxes incurred in the purchase are similarly the buyer's responsibility.
